Bring On Semester Two!

This first semester of 2007 has been a bumpy one as far as producing TWO has been concerned. A general lack of content (come on, people!) and some questionable tactics by other organisations and publications within the university environment has meant that even when we have managed to put out the newspaper, it hasn't necessarily made it into your hot little hands. This is unfortunate and more than a little frustrating, but we here at the TWO office are keeping our heads high and looking to the future and what it has to offer.

There are some exciting things in the works behind the scenes and we'll happily do the big reveal as soon as we're able. In the meantime, though, we still want your content!! Remember, the tone of TWO is reliant on the content that we get - which means that you (yes, YOU!) have all the power. We have an open submission policy and intend to stick by that. Whether you're a student or staff member, we are here to give you a voice.

Content deadlines for next semester are a bit up in the air at the moment, as when we go to print depends not only on what we want to do, but what you all give us to do. If we get more content (you've got a huge break to come up with some ideas!) then we can maintain a fortnightly print run and bump up our efforts to make sure that the paper gets to you. If not, a monthly print run will be put into place and, frankly, we here at the office will enjoy the extra breathing time. But, let me reiterate, it's all up to you.

As soon as there's any more information, you can rest assured that it'll be put up on here for you to find.

Until then, good luck with your exams and assessments, don't stress out too much and don't forget to write for The Western Onion!
